Farm Experience Day Camp ~ March 14th ~ 16th 2018 (3 days)
The Farm Experience Day Camp provides your child with the opportunity to
develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends and
discover new interests, all while experiencing real life on a bio-diverse
local family farm.
We have an abundance of farm activities.
This is a short 3 day preview of what the farm is all about.
Through hands on experiences your child will learn about the care and feeding of
farm animals. They will handle Abigail & Lady our two cows. We will feed all the farm animals, chickens, ducks & geese. We will work in the green house & prepare for spring plants & harvesting.
Camp runs 10am to 3pm. Snack is provided direct from the farm.
We believe in well supervised free range students consisting of a small
group size of about 10 students.
The diversity of ages 5 through 12 is a great experience for student to
learn how it feels to be part of the family on a biodiverse farm.
Please send a sack lunch. Students are to bring rain gear, warm hats & rubber boots. Since Oregon can be wet we would like a spear outfit & shoes to chance into if your child gets muddy.
I hope your child has the opportunity to join us on our organic family farm.
